C‑suite experience

Tim Gliffe

Founding partner

Global commercial leader and former Chief Commercial Officer with 20+ years of C-suite experience across technology and industrial sectors, now focused on helping sustainability and impact-driven ventures scale through disciplined commercial strategy and execution.

  • Tim Gliffe is a senior commercial leader with over two decades of global C-suite experience across sales, marketing, service, and customer operations — combined with deep, hands-on sustainability expertise.

Formerly Chief Commercial Officer at a global industrial technology company, Tim led a €1bn P&L and an organisation of more than 1,500 customer-facing employees across sales, marketing, service, and CRM. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard, where he managed multi-billion-euro businesses and led major commercial and marketing transformations across Europe.

Today, Tim works as a senior consultant and fractional executive at the intersection of commercial strategy, execution excellence, and sustainability. He supports sustainability-focused scale-ups and purpose-led organisations in overcoming growth hurdles — from refining strategy and positioning to building scalable go-to-market engines, operating models, and execution cadence.

In recent years, Tim has advised impact-driven ventures on repositioning for growth, strengthening commercial focus, and building credibility with enterprise customers and investors. Alongside this, he supports larger organisations in embedding sustainability into strategy, ways of working, and decision-making — moving beyond ESG reporting toward tangible business and environmental impact.

Tim is also actively involved in sustainability leadership development, including collaboration with leading academic institutions and facilitation of Climate Fresk.
